Memory lane Monday. 14 years ago today The Old Liberty Station sustain heavy damage from a fire that consumed a large portion of the building. “The Station” is a staple of Bedford and is one of our favorite places to visit and eat as a group. The owners and staff always treated us well, but after the fire we now feel like family. We are thankful no one was hurt and the overall support from outside agencies was tremendous that day.

If you have pictures or memories of that day please share in the comments, or share the post and let us know!

Bedford Fire Department

Tonight we gathered to have a small members only cookout to help remember and celebrate the amazing rescues and courage that were on display this day many years ago. Although we mourn for everyone lost, today is still the greatest Fire Department Rescue story in history. Thousands of lives were saved by brave first responders sacrificing themselves for the greater good. We will never forget what today means.
