2300hrs- Bedford Communications alerted Company 1 to the intersection of Macon Street and Ruff Drive for a reported vehicle fire. Engine 1 (with four) arrived at 2305hrs to find one vehicle with heavy fire showing. E-1's nozzleman and backup quickly stretched a trash line to the vehicle to extinguish the blaze. Rescue 1 (with six) arrived and assisted by providing lighting via light tower. Both units returned to service at 2330hrs.
