0540hrs- Companies 13 (Stewartsville-Chamblissburg/1st due), 8 (Moneta/2nd due) and 1 (Bedford/RIT) responded to 3269 Thomasson Mill Road for a reported structure fire. A Bedford County Deputy was first to arrive who advised that smoke was showing from the eves. Wagon 8-3 and Wagon 13 operated on the interior as Division 1 while Rescue 1's crew operated as the roof division by orders of command. Fire was discovered in the walls after crews from division 1removed brick from the fireplace to access the area behind the stove. The fire was contained to the area of origin, all units returned to service at 0700hrs.
